Our #StarOfTheWeek goes to Sophia Di Nicola of the Western Predators #MWJHL. Despite a loss, Di Nicola made 43 saves - some of which were highlight reel stops. You don’t always have to bury the biscuit (post thanksgiving quip) or rack up Wins to be stellar. Sometimes just staying in the fight for 60 minutes is what’s needed.
This tendy faced two tough offences in her last two starts & still maintains a +0.900 SV%.
Last time I checked - if you came home with a 94% average on your report card - you’re headed to The Keg (or comparable) to celly.
Way to go Sophia!
